Baoji Huacan's 8mm titanium rod is precision-made from Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) or Grade 2 commercially pure titanium, offering tensile strength up to 950 MPa at a density of just ~4.43 g/cm³ — about 55% lighter than steel. Each rod is produced by hot rolling and centerless grinding to stringent ISO dimensional specifications (h6, h7 or h9). Huacan has 10+ years of expertise in titanium machining, operates 40+ CNC machines, has an annual production capacity of over 1000 tonnes, and serves OEM/ODM orders in prototype, small batch and mass production sizes

Q: Can the product be welded?

A：Yes. TIG welding with full argon shielding (including tailings shield) is recommended to prevent alpha-case embrittlement in both CP and Grade 5 material.

Q: What is the difference between ASTM B348 and ASTM F136?

A：ASTM F136 is the medical ELI standard with stricter oxygen and iron limits for improved fracture toughness in implant applications. ASTM B348 covers general industrial use.
